Minor surface dirt and dust; canvas is unlined and slightly loose; scattered craquelures, primarily confined to perimeter of image; one small white accretion in the center, below the man's hand; visible instances of inpainting running along lengths of right and left edges. Under UV light: in addition to the aforementioned instances of inpainting, one small area of inpainting fluoresces at lower bottom left edge. Additional images available upon request.
