Both screens appearing in overall fairly good and ready to place condition. Leather of both screens is mounted to canvas for stability; one example with black paper to the back covering the canvas. The leather with cracking and craquelure visible in the paint surface. One screen exhibits heavier craquelure and a more aged appearance. Minor flaking to the paint. There is overpainting and fill in some of the cracks of the leather. Several repaired and restored tears in the leather; not immediately noticeable. The wood frames with scattered gouges.
