Founded in the 1980s by Carol Seiden and Carolyn Gang, SeidenGang is a fine jewelry firm known for its ancient-inspired designs. Its most renowned pieces are produced in a distinctive green gold alloy made to mimic ancient artifacts and set with diamonds and colorful gemstones. Designs often include plaster-style bas-relief carvings of ancient scenes and motifs. Notably, SeidenGang was one of the first jewelry brands to market directly to women as customers, something that was not common at the time. Today, SeidenGang continues to design remarkable collections, including ‘Classic’, ‘Odyssey’, and ‘Love of Life’, and their vintage pieces are highly-collectible.
