Good condition overall, with no chips or cracks observed. Subtle signs of gentle use, such as scuffs to the undersides from stacking. Originally described as a set of ten, it is actually a set of eight plus two similar plates. The first is a fruit plate, decorated with berries and lacking a Latin inscription on the underside, but has a nearly identical form to the set of eight, and has Royal Copenhagen marks to its underside. The last plate was not made by Royal Copenhagen; it is marked 'DANMARK' and has spurious crown and three-wave marks, but has the flower name is inscribed in Latin and the hand painted decoration appears of the same quality as genuine Flora Danica. Both appear cohesive with the rest of the set.
